There’s also a game room that’s surprisingly well-stocked, which came in handy during an afternoon thunderstorm that rolled through.

You know what’s great about staying here? The fishing opportunities are incredible, and the resort can arrange everything from fly-fishing for bonefish to deep-sea excursions. Being on Ambergris Caye means you’re perfectly positioned for the Belize Barrier Reef — second largest in the world, if you’re keeping track. The resort’s location gives you easy access to San Pedro’s restaurants and bars when you want some local flavor, but you can retreat to your own peaceful corner when the town gets too lively.

Practical Perks

Here’s something I really appreciated — they have free private parking right on site, which might not sound like a big deal until you realize how limited parking can be in San Pedro. Most people fly into the caye or take water taxis, but if you’re doing a longer Belize adventure and have a rental car, this is actually pretty valuable. The staff handles logistics seamlessly too; they arranged our airport transfers and restaurant reservations without any of that pushy concierge vibe you sometimes get at luxury resorts.
