Breakfast on the beachfront terrace became my daily ritual, watching pelicans dive for fish while enjoying perfectly prepared eggs Benedict. The spa treatments are worth the splurge too, especially after a day of diving or fishing. Speaking of which, the resort can arrange everything from deep-sea fishing to mainland excursions to Mayan ruins, though honestly, you might find yourself too relaxed to leave the property.

  The Continental breakfast was great. I loved that they brought it to you and you didn’t have to eat buffet style. The chef and wait staff did a great job accommodating my gluten free needs and even put a sticker on my plate indicating it was gluten free. It was also so nice to have everything organized for us. Victoria House scheduled our flights in and off the island and booked our fishing tour. The fishing tour with Roberto was incredible. My husband even got to dive for lobsters seeing that the season had just opened.

  The location is great – right on the water with a lot of beach space and 2 pools. The pools had a good amount of chair and umbrellas so it never felt crowded. The room was great – comfortable bed, clean, good bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were both great
