The location is honestly perfect if you want that sweet spot between accessibility and peace. You’re close enough to San Pedro that a quick golf cart ride (which, let’s be real, is how everyone gets around here) puts you right in the middle of restaurants and bars. But when you want to escape back to your own little slice of paradise, you’ve got this beautiful stretch of beach that feels way more private than anything you’ll find in town. I mean, couples absolutely love this setup — and I can see why the rating reflects that.

The Accommodations

My room was actually more like a condo setup, which was a pleasant surprise. The space felt lived-in rather than sterile hotel-ish, if that makes sense. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchenette — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual counter space and cooking facilities. The balcony overlooking the water became my morning coffee spot, and honestly, that view never got old. The air conditioning worked perfectly too, which you definitely need in Belize.

There’s a restaurant on-site that serves solid local dishes, though I’d recommend venturing into San Pedro for dinner at least a couple of nights — the food scene there is really something special.

  Our stay at Grand Caribe Resort in San Pedro, Belize was nothing short of exceptional. The spacious and impeccably designed suite we called home surpassed even our highest expectations. The resort’s amenities were top-notch, offering a variety of complimentary water activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. We also appreciated the multiple pools, hot tub, and swim-up bar.
  The cherry on top was the resort's warm and friendly staff. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome and at home. Overall, our experience at Grand Caribe was unforgettable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing tropical getaway.

  A great property with multiple pools so we had the option for peace and quiet in one of the six pools. The beach and the boat dock were steps away to snorkel, kayak or paddleboard. The staff were awesome and very helpful. They arranged our transportation to and from the airport, our golf cart rental and our snorkeling excursion. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were both delicious. The property was in a great part of the island. Quieter but with plenty of food options and close enough to get down to San Pedro for souvenir shopping.
