From here, you’re perfectly positioned to do the classic Belize stuff without the crowds. The snorkeling spots are easily accessible — Hol Chan Marine Reserve is a short boat ride away, and most dive shops will pick you up. What I loved was coming back to the villa after a day on the water and having space to rinse gear properly and relax without feeling like you’re bothering other guests. The neighborhood itself is quiet enough for evening walks, and you’ll probably spot some interesting birds if you’re into that sort of thing.
