  I have spent nearly a month in Belize, traveling and staying every District. The Hotel Del Rio has had the most kind, professional, and wonderful people, out of all the hotels I've stayed out. Christine and Rosella are the absolute best!!! They will help you with anything you need. And the location is outstanding, near everything, but not as loud as a other places on San Pedro. The rooms were excellent, and the value tremendous. I can't recommend them enough!

  I had a wonderful stay at Hotel del Rio! The staff were so kind and helpful – and as a woman traveling solo, I felt safe and like they were looking out for me. My room was comfortable and spacious, and I loved the hammocks outside. While it is near the ocean, San Pedro doesn’t really have beaches, but there is a pier that you can walk out on and a great view of the water from the hotel. There’s also a cafe attached to the hotel that’s convenient for breakfast.

Grisella told me where to find everything I needed, booked my trips & was waiting for feedback on my return. Christine shared a lot of her experiences & was kind enough to let me use her phone when mine wasn’t getting through. The fresh flowers in the sleeping area & bathroom was a wonderful touch. Security was around in the evening for that extra reassurance.
