I went out for a half-day snorkeling trip that the hotel arranged, and we hit sites that the bigger tour groups from town don’t usually visit. The water clarity was incredible, and we saw nurse sharks and stingrays without fighting crowds for the best viewing spots.

  The staff was so friendly and professional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, well trained, funny, responsive. Heydi was extremely helpful and responsive. We saw the manager a number of times, as she is on site regularly and checks in with guests. The guys at the bar gave us good ideas for day trips and beaches to visit.
  
  The location feels removed when you look at a map, and the first time you drive your golf cart from pavement onto the dirt/sand road with a couple miles still to travel, it is removed, but the hospitality of the team, beauty of the location, and thoughtful details and comfort of this property are so worth it!

  The service was incredible. The tour desk booked two snorkeling trips for us that picked us up directly from the hotel’s pier. Brian and Chris at the restaurant were so nice and made the best drinks. I forgot the name of the woman who runs the property but she was always on site and always checked on her guests. It felt almost like staying in the home of a very gracious hostess.

  Lovely location on the beach. You need transport, a bike or golf buggy is ideal as you are approximately 5 miles out of the town. The location suited us perfectly, as it was far away from San Pedro, the town is really busy, noisy and we couldn't wait to leave, not for us! The staff at the Hidden Jewel were really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely seating area outside our cabana which overlooked the pool are but was very private. Great kitchen facilities, even the sofa bed was comfortable. Get up early to see the sunrise from the beach- inspiring.

  The property is beautiful, well kept, intimate and perfect for a quiet luxurious getaway. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves almost the entire time.
