Couples especially seem to get this balance right (they consistently rate the location around 8.6), and I can see why. You can easily explore the town on foot, grab dinner at one of those amazing beachfront spots, then come back to your quiet base. Plus, having free private parking is actually a bigger deal than you might think — parking can be tricky in this part of Belize.

The Accommodations

The rooms are clean and comfortable without being fancy, which honestly fits the whole San Pedro aesthetic perfectly. You’re getting air conditioning (essential in this climate), decent beds, and everything you need for a solid night’s sleep after a day of diving or exploring the island. I mean, you’re probably going to spend most of your time out and about anyway — the room is really just your home base. The setup works well for couples who want their own space without paying resort prices.

You’re close enough to walk to the water taxi dock when you want to explore other parts of the caye, and the local restaurants — the ones where you’ll actually want to eat — are all within easy reach. The hotel doesn’t try to keep you on property with a bunch of amenities, which actually makes sense here. This is Belize, after all — the best stuff is happening outside your hotel room.

  I like the front desk attendant. She was very friendly and super attentive. I love the little bar on the bottom floor. They are super friendly and attentive also. I liked my room it was super clean and spacious.

  Was great to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room so I could have some snacks for late nights and early mornings. (Belize restaurants are expensive! Save money by going to Island City Supermarket or Walk Mart to get food.) There was free coffee in the lobby too.
  The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.
  Located right on the beach, although there is a seawall with stairs you need to climb down to get in the sea. Shallow water, some fishies swimming, and I saw a stingray. Chairs and hammocks to relax on. Nice little pool that wasn't very busy during my stay.
  Diving company right in front of the hotel, but I booked with Searious Adventures cuz they were cheaper.

  Every one that works there was so helpful in every way possible. We appreciate the location being within walking distance of a lot of things. The resort and rooms were very clean and the food was great.
