The staff mentioned that the diving and fishing excursions basically leave from your doorstep, which saves you the hassle of getting shuttled around the island.

The Pool Club Experience

The PoolClub part of the name makes total sense once you see the setup. It’s not just a pool — it’s sort of the heart of the whole property. The sunset views from here are actually spectacular (hence the “Sunset” in the name, I guess). What I really appreciated was how they’ve designed the space so you can hang out during the day, grab drinks, and then seamlessly transition into evening mode. The restaurant area flows right into the pool space, so you’re never really stuck in one spot if you don’t want to be.

My room was clean and well-designed — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which honestly can be hit or miss in Belize. The air conditioning was solid (crucial), and I had a decent view of the water. The whole property feels well-maintained, like someone actually cares about the details. You can tell they’ve put thought into making sure guests are comfortable without trying to be something they’re not. It’s that sweet spot between casual and polished that’s hard to find.

  The entire experience from start to finish was spectacular! The moment I booked reservations, a gentleman by the name of Melki contacted me to greet me and offered assistance with golf cart rentals. Upon arrival, Melki was very welcoming and thorough when explaining my stay at the villa. If we needed anything, he made himself available. To top it off, the villa was BEAUTIFUL! It was truly a memorable experience!
